However, I have not had an opportunity to really research the paid version. I do know that several IT coordinators that I hold in high regard speak well of Schoology. I like that assignment resources appear in the course, resource library, and the calendar. That would be very useful to be able to access those from whichever location a student might be.

\nI see the role-based accounts as a disadvantage for teachers as they often could use the same account for delivery of instruction, as well as being part of a class or PLC that wants to utilize Schoology. I can see the limitation for students as they should not be setting up courses under the institution's identity.
